Leading this weeks releases is Dexter Season 4, in which a like-able Miami police forensics expert moonlights as a serial killer of criminals who he believes have escaped justice.
The Blu-ray features BD-Live capability for access to even more exclusive content, including interviews with the cast.
The best price for Dexter Season 4 this week is $29.99 for the DVD at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target, and $39.99 for the Blu-ray at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target. Best Buy offers a exclusive bonus disc with an extra 40 minutes of content.
Also releasing this week is The Last Song, a drama centered on a rebellious girl who is sent to a Southern beach town for the summer to stay with her father. Through their mutual love of music, the estranged duo learn to reconnect.
The only extra material on the DVD release will be a Set Tour with Bobby Coleman, the Miley Cyrus Music Video: “When I Look At You”, and a Making of the Music Video featurette. The Blu-ray release will include an additional commentary with Director Julie Anne Robinson and Co-Producer Jennifer Gibgot, an Alternate Opening Sequence: The Church Fire with optional director commentary, and 5 deleted scenes with optional commentary.
The best price for The Last Song this week is $17.99 for the DVD at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target, and $24.99 for the Blu-ray at Amazon. There are no exclusives for this release.
