Leading this weeks releases is Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, which is about a teenager who discovers he’s the descendant of a Greek god and sets out on an adventure to settle an on-going battle between the gods.
The DVD will include 5 deleted and extended scenes, a Discover Your Powers Quiz, and The Book Comes To Life featurette. The Blu-ray release will also include all that, along with 5 additional deleted and extended scenes, 4 featurettes ("Secrets of the Gods", "Inside Camp Half-Blood", "On Set With Brandon T. Jackson", "Meet The Demigods"), and a digital copy of the film.
The best price for Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief this week is $16.99 for the DVD at Amazon and Target, and $24.99 for the Blu-ray at Amazon. There are no exclusives for this release.
Also releasing this week is Hot Tub Time Machine, in which four guy friends, all of them bored with their adult lives, travel back to their respective 80s heydays thanks to a time-bending hot tub.
The DVD release will include deleted scenes and the theatrical trailer. The Blu-ray release will include that, along with Theatrical Promotional Spots ("Production: Acting Like Idiots", "Chevy Chase: The Nicest Guy in Hollywood", "Totally Radical Outfits: Dayna Pink", "Crispin Glover: One Armed Bellhop"), and a digital copy of the film.
The best price for Hot Tub Time Machine this week is $16.99 for the DVD at Amazon and Best Buy, and $24.99 for the Blu-ray at Amazon and Target. There are no exclusives for this release.
